Saudi Arabia is known for its rich history, but what many people don't know is that the country has a lot of great food. Even though there are many different types of foods in Saudi Arabia, some are more popular than others:

Kabsa.



Kabsa is a traditional Saudi Arabian rice dish that is served with meat, chicken or fish. It can be eaten alone and with Mandi (rice topped with lentils). Kabsa also goes well with Harees, which are boiled eggs in tomato sauce.

Mandi.

Mandi is a Saudi Arabian dish that originated in the Arabian Peninsula. It is made with lamb, rice and spices. The stew usually contains onions and other vegetables like tomatoes or cucumbers. Mandi has been around for centuries so it's no surprise that it has become popular among many people around the world!

Mandi is not just any old meal—it's actually considered one of the most common meals served throughout many Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia! This dish consists of chunks of meat cooked slowly over low heat until tender enough to eat (which makes it perfect for those who don't eat red meat). Once done cooking, you can add whatever fresh ingredients you desire such as fresh parsley leaves or garlic cloves while they cook up together until soft enough to melt into your mouth!

Harees.

Harees is a traditional Saudi Arabian dish that's made from wheat, dates and milk. It's served during Eid Al-Adha (or "Feast of the Sacrifice").

The meal typically consists of two bowls: one with rice and another with harees inside it. The latter is filled with meat or chicken pieces stewed in broth spiked with cumin, saffron and turmeric powder.

Al-baik.

Al-baik is a dish made with rice, lamb and spices. It's traditional Saudi Arabian food, but it's becoming more popular throughout the world.

The dish was invented over 500 years ago by an Arab cook named Baqir who was banished from his village for killing a woman in defense of her honor. He settled down in Mecca where he cooked for pilgrims who came from far away to visit their holy places. After learning how to make al-baik, Baqir decided to share his special recipe with others so that they could enjoy it too!

Saffron rice.

The saffron rice is a delicacy that can be found in many Saudi Arabian dishes. It's usually served with meat or vegetables and tastes great on its own, but it can also be eaten with meat if you want to add some spice to your meal.

Malaki dates.

Malaki dates are a type of date. They're grown in Saudi Arabia and have a soft texture, which makes them very sweet.

Malaki dates are eaten as snacks by both adults and children alike, making them a popular food choice in the country.
